Expect cooler than normal conditions to continue for the next 24 hours before we see a return to early fall-like conditions. Wet weather has dominated our Thursday and those showers will linger into the evening hours before tapering off from West to East on Friday.

With the showers, we are also experiencing unseasonably cool conditions across the area, cool enough to potentially bring low elevation snowfall to the area. Any snow should mainly be above the 7,000 foot level tonight into early tomorrow morning.

The weather will turn around by tomorrow afternoon as the front exits region, sunshine will return, though it might take a day or two to bring those temperatures back up to more seasonable levels. By Saturday, expect partly cloudy skies, drier weather, and highs more typical of early September.

Tune in tonight, I will have a detailed breakdown of where the showers are, how cool it will be tonight, and just how nice the weekend is setting up to be. See you soon!
