A skier was injured after falling in an out of bounds area north of Bridger Bowl.
The incident happened at around 2 p.m. Tuesday. The 24-year-old Bozeman man injured his left leg and was unable to move after falling on hard packed ice, according to a news release from the Gallatin County Sheriff's Office.
The man called 911 on his cell phone. Bridger Ski Patrol and search and rescue volunteers reached him quickly and transported him down the mountain to a waiting AMR ambulance.
The man was taken to Bozeman Deaconess Hospital.
