The family of two sisters who were killed during a double homicide in Billings has released photos of the women.

Rose Edwards, 22, and her sister, Daisy, 21, were victims of a double homicide in Billings early Friday morning. In the picture of the two women together, Rose is on the left and Daisy is on the right.

The man accused of brutally murdering the sisters made his initial appearance in Yellowstone County Justice Court on Wednesday.

Andrew Denning, 20, appeared before Judge Larry Herman via video from the Yellowstone County Detention Facility Wednesday afternoon. Denning is facing two felony charges of deliberate homicide for the deaths of Rose and Daisy Edwards.

According to court documents, the women were killed early Friday morning, just two days after Denning was released from the psychiatric center at Billings Clinic on Wednesday.

Denning had the prescriptions for Ambien and another prescription drug, possibly Depakote.

The report details how Denning told his girlfriend he was going to sell the Ambien drug for profit.

But on Friday afternoon, Denning apparently told his girlfriend he killed the two women after they refused to pay him money when he provided them with the Ambien.

When detectives relayed the information to Denning that his girlfriend had told detectives what he confessed to her, Denning apparently hung his head low and said, "Book me now." He also told detectives that he didn't have an honest answer for why he hurt either of the girls.

When detectives told him he murdered them, he reportedly replied, "Yeah."

Autopsies indicate Rose likely died of a stab wound to the neck and Daisy likely died of stab wound to the chest that penetrated her heart.

Denning's bond has been set at $1 million.
