It was the Lady Griz challenging the Lady Bobcats in Bozeman on Saturday afternoon for Treasure State bragging rights.

It didn't look good for the visitors for much of the game, but eight minutes into the first half Montana turned a steal into two points. Maggie Rickman got the layup to make it 12-9 Lady Griz.

Then with time winding down in the half, Katie Bussey got free for the Bobcats and Montana State took a 31-28 lead into the locker room.

Then Montana didn't score during a six minute span of the second half, but Katie Baker went on to hit three straight and then Bozeman native Kellie Cole put the Lady Griz up for good with seven minutes left.

Alyssa Smith also hit a trio of threes in a row as Montana came back to take down MSU by a final of 61-54.
