NAMPA, ID - Authorities have issued an Amber Alert in Idaho and Nevada for 2-year old Catelyn Sandoval who police say was taken by her mother.
Gerogina Sandoval, 26, is said to have came from out of state and taken the child early Tuesday morning. She may be headed to Four Corners area and authorities say that Gerogina has made suicidal threats to the father and is a known drug user.
The abductor and child are believed to be traveling with a male of Native American descent who is bald and wearing a white T-shirt. They should be driving a bluish silver 2007 Chevrolet Impala or possibly Malibu four-door with tinted windows and unknown license plate number or state of issue, possibly New Mexico or Colorado plate. They were last seen heading south to the Four Corners region.
Catelyn Sandoval has brown hair and brown eyes. She's a Native American who's approximately 3' and weighs 35 pounds. Catelyn also has a bump on her forehead and has a light complexion. Authorities say she is possibly wearing a green sundress.
Her mother, Gerogina Sandoval, is described as being 5'7" tall Native American, weighing 170 pounds and has black hair and brown eyes. Authorities say that her hair is cut in a short bob-style cut.
Anyone with information about either Catelyn or Georogina is asked to immediately contact the Nampa Police Department at (208) 465-2257.
